With a recession upon us a number of people are opting out of taking out insurances as a way of economising. It really could be a false economy.
A number of companies are now offering low cost life insurance coverage. If you look carefully at many online price comparison sites you will find quite a number of offers. Some offer some free days insurance each year. With the high cost of funerals, life insurance is a must have item. The number of price comparison websites offering low cost life insurance seems to grow weekly, so there is no excuse to be without at least some cover for yourself and your loved ones.
Many low cost life insurances offer very good deals and there a also a number of companies not listed on price comparison sites which may give even better deals.
Low cost life insurance can prevent the worry of how you will pay for funeral costs and will not make it harder for those left behind. Remember, they are the ones who will have enough to do while grieving and worrying about funeral expenses is not necessary if you prepare in advance.
One of my family members took out a low cost life insurance policy and it paid for all of the funeral expenses with a little left over.
Always remember to read the small print on any documents as there can often be some sort of clause which may make your insurance claim invalid. This is usually because the forms were filled in incorrectly or some vital information has been missed out by the person who filled in the insurance form.
Be totally honest on any insurance forms, you may think you'll get a better deal if you do not tell them about an existing medical condition but they can and will refuse to pay out on any policy on which you have not been totally honest and above board about every thing. Check and re-check your form and, even if you don't think something is not relevant, put it down.
Insurance companies are not monsters or just after your money, they are providing a service. If you remember to read all of the small print and be completely honest when filling in the forms, there should be no problem with any future claim. Being dishonest, however, and not reading the small print could result in a refused claim. Many people blame insurance companies for not paying out but they have to make sure the claim is an honest one.
Many companies allow weekly or monthly payments at no extra cost so that insurance can be affordable to most people.
